The functional trim set comprises of two detent headworks (push to on, push to off) as the main flow control for each shower outlet, a ¼ turn ceramic disc valve with a dome type operating member controlling the flow volume, and a thermostatic cartridge controlling the temperature with a dome type operating member incorporating a manual override button. The functional trim set is also supplied with two brass assemblies comprising of a plastic filter, EPDM ‘O’-rings and an approved check valve cartridge, however the complete assembly has not been tested to demonstrate it provides adequate backflow protection. Materials listed in this section are not approved for use for contact with water that is required to be wholesome on large water retaining structures such as lining of pipes, cisterns or water storage tanks.
'Tankguard 412'. White coloured, factory applied, 2 part epoxy coating. Mix and apply as per manufacturer's TDS dated 6 November 2015. Cure for 7 days@23°C. Between 1st November 2021 and 27th July 2022 this coating is for use with water up to 23°C. Between 28th July 2022 and 30th November 2026 this coating is for use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
