Petroleum or asphaltic bitumen, NOT coal tar bitumen. Materials listed in this section are not approved for use for contact with water that is required to be wholesome on large water retaining structures such as lining of pipes, cisterns or water storage tanks.
'Tecnocoat P-2049'. Factory applied, two component, grey coloured polyurea coating. Mix components A & B in a weight ratio of 1:1 and apply as per manufacturer's TDS 'v. 20-03-2022'. Cure for 48 hours@23°C. Between September 2022 and August 2024, the coating is for use with water up to 23°C. From September 2024, the coating is for use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the mixing, curing & soaking conditions that appear on the approval. Pre-heat substrate to 232°C, before dip coating as per manufacturer’s data sheet and application guide ‘78-8141-8528-2 Rev A’ dated February 2016, for 3 seconds. Cure for 10 minutes at 232°C.
