The flow to the terminal fittings is controlled by solenoid valve and actuated by control panel. The baths are fitted with a deck mounted spout outlet, which incorporates a plastic flow straightener. The product also incorporates a shower hose and handset, the supply to which is fed via a type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5). The baths incorporate combination valve assemblies installed at each inlet, which consist of a spherical valve, stainless steel strainer and an approved check valve cartridge (however, the complete assembly has not been fully tested to demonstrate that it provides adequate backflow protection). Maximum working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum supply temperature 60°C. Maximum outlet temperature (from TMV to discharge point) 50°C.
Assembly of pipe and fittings for use Arjo Huntleigh assisted bathing units. The assemblies comprise of either brass compression fittings or plastic push fit fittings for use with Uponor WIrsbo PEX pipe. The inlet of the 22mm assembly incorporates a combined spherical valve and strainer with brass body and stainless-steel filter. The strainer incorporates an approved check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature for assemblies incorporating brass compression fittings is 80°C. Maximum operating temperature for assemblies incorporating PEX push fit fittings is 50°C.
