The bodies are cast brass (concealed versions) with a chromium plated trim set or chromium plated brass (exposed versions). Flow and temperature are controlled by a thermostatic cartridge with a single lever operating member. The inlets incorpoarate stainless steel strainers. Some models are supplied with a shower hose and handset or an overhead shower arm and shower head with flow regulator (see model section). The BIV model is also supplied with an angled wall outlet elbow. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 45°C.
Range of pressure reducing valves with DZR brass, gunmetal or stainless-steel bodies. Maximum inlet pressure for HP and SP Models = 25.0 bar. Maximum inlet pressure for LP Models = 6.0 bar. Between September 2022 and December 2023, the maximum operating temperature of models included on the approval was 60°C. From January 2024, the maximum operating temperature of those models increased to 85°C. Models added to the approval in January 2024: Models with maximum working pressure of 6.0 & 16.0 bar models are for cold water use. Models with maximum working pressure of 25.0 bar have a maximum operating temperature of 85°C.

'SPL Gold Sulphate Resisting Portland Cement'. Factory applied, grey coloured Sulphate Resisting Portland Cement. Mix cement, sand and water in a 1.0:1.4:0.35 mass ratio and apply as per manufacturer's work instructions document code 'WI/SP/FINC&B/02', issue '06'. Cure for 24 hours at 27°C & 70% RH. For use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'OP-90601' (orange coloured) & 'IP-90604' (light orange coloured). Injection moulded polyester materials. For use with water up to 50°C.
'Aura HDPE Electrofusion Fittings'. Black coloured, injection moulded HDPE (PE100) electrofusion fittings. For use with water up to 65°C.
