The primary circuit incorporates a pressure relief valve set at 3.0 bar and an expansion vessel. The products are supplied with isolation valve on both the DHW and CH circuits. The secondary circuit (DHW) incorporates a plastic flow restrictor and stainless-steel strainer. Some models (see model section) are supplied with a filling loop assembly consisting of an in-line isolation valve, an in-line double check valve assembly which incorporates an isolation valve. The 4414-WMH-20 (threaded) model has a DZR brass body and a check valve cartridge on the inlet verified by test (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2). The 4414-WMH-1 & 4414-WMH-2 (compression) models have a brass body and an approved check valve cartridge on the inlet, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate that it provides adequate backflow protection. Wall mounted thermostatic bar shower mixers (chrome plated brass body) incorporating a 2 way ceramic disc diverter headwork controlling the flow between the overhead shower and handset with either a dome or cube type operating member. The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge incorporating a manual override button with either a dome or cube type operating member.
