The product incorporates a 3 way manual diverter (2 on, 1 off) to control the flow between either a shower outlet or a combined bath filler and overflow. The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge. The diverter and thermostatic cartridge have single lever operating members. Both inlets to the main shower valve as well as to the combined bath filler/overflow incorporate an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection.
