The inlets of the shower handsets incorporate a plastic flow regulator at the inlet. Shower kits with ½” (M) inlets are also supplied with a brass wall elbow which incorporate a plastic flow regulator and an approved single check valve cartridge (however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection).
