‘Comet’ combination units consisting of a cased and insulated stainless steel unvented hot water storage cylinder. The cylinder primary circuit is fitted with an in-line electrical heater which supplies the heat source to the secondary water via a stainless-steel coil, and the heat source to the central heating circuit directly. The cylinder is factory fitted with a temperature and pressure relief valve, pre-set at 7.0 bar 90 degrees. The unit is supplied with an inlet control group containing a check valve cartridge, verified by test (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2), pressure reducing valve set at 3.0 bar and an expansion relief set at 6.0 bar. An expansion vessel is factory fitted to both the secondary and primary circuits within and is positioned inside the casing. The primary circuit also incorporates a circulating pump and pressure relief valve which is set at 3.0 bar.
