‘Zip Aquapoint IV’ range of wall mounted directly heated unvented storage vessels (cased and insulated) incorporating an enamel lined cylinder and safety kit. The cylinder is factory fitted with a temperature and pressure relief valve. An inlet manifold is supplied incorporating a 6.0 bar expansion relief valve, a pressure reducing valve pre-set at 3.0 bar, a check valve cartridge, verified by test (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2) and a stainless-steel strainer. An expansion vessel is also supplied. Maximum working pressure 5.5 bar. Maximum operating temperature 70°C.
Range of wall mounted, electrically heated catering water boilers. The boilers incorporate stainless steel storage tanks with stainless steel vent and overflow and silicon washers and gaskets, fed via a solenoid valve. The water is discharged via a self-closing tap with single lever operating member. The solenoid valve incorporates a plastic strainer at the inlet. Maximum working pressure 7.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 98°C.
Range of electric instantaneous water heaters. The DEX and DCX models incorporate a spherical ball valve on the inlet. The CEX and DEX models incorporate an approved check valve cartridge; however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. The inlet incorporates a strainer. Maximum working pressure 10 bar (DEX models only) All other models open outlet. Maximum operating temperature: ES3/4/5 and Zip Hydrotap G4/G5 ranges – 65ºC. CEX, DEX and DCX ranges - 70°C.

Range of boiling water dispensers incorporating plastic (3-7.5 litre models) or stainless steel (10-40 litre models) cisterns with silicone ‘O’-rings and seals. The flow to the internal reservoir is controlled via a float valve. The internal reservoir incorporates an overflow which acts a vent. The inlet incorporates a plastic filter. Water is dispensed using either a lever or push button (PLUS models only) operated self-closing tap. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 98°C. Cold supply only.

Single hole, triple outlet (swivel) combination tap assembly (brass bodies, various finishes - see model), incorporating a ceramic cartridge headwork with single lever operating member. Electronic controls allow the tap to dispense boiling, chilled or sparkling water. The vented models are supplied with a brass adaptor containing a plastic flow regulator and a combined EPDM washer and stainless-steel strainer, for installation on the mains cold water into the ceramic cartridge. They are also supplied with a stainless steel braided PEX lined flexible hose assembly and a stainless steel braided TPSiV lined flexible hose assembly both with ½” captive nut end connections for installation between the tap and a command centre, (which is not included as part of this approval). The vented models are supplied with a stainless steel braided PEX lined flexible hose assembly incorporating a ½" captive nut end connection, which provides main cold water to a venturi device which is part of a command centre (not supplied). The Arc vented models are supplied with a DZR brass tee piece, two DZR brass adaptors, two stainless-steel strainers (each combined with an EPDM washer) and a plastic flow restrictor, for installation prior to the cold inlet hose. The Arc and Cube mains models are supplied with two DZR brass adaptors and two stainless-steel strainers (each combined with an EPDM washer), for installation on each inlet hose. The spout outlet incorporates a plastic aerator. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar.

Electronic controls on the left-hand side of the body allow the tap to dispense one or more of the following (model specification dependent): ambient, near boiling, chilled or sparkling water. The spout incorporates a plastic aerator on the Sparkling/Ambient/Chilled outlet, and a separate outlet for the near boiling water. All models incorporate a vent outlet within the tap spout for the near-boiling water circuit. Near-boiling circuit has a maximum operating temperature of 98°C. All other circuits have a maximum operating temperature of 65°C.
