Flow is controlled by a solenoid valve activated via an infra-red sensor and a ceramic cartridge with a single lever operating members controlling both the flow and temperature for all models excluding 62816, which uses a mixer to control the temperature only with a single lever operating member. The spout outlets incorporate plastic aerators. All models (excluding AZL10range) incorporate a separate approved check valve cartridge on the inlet, verified by test (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2), The inlets of all models incorporate stainless steel strainers.
