Section Code 1465 : Combination boilers and Water Jacketed Tube heaters. Low volume water content. Heat retained in water heaters will cause expansion of water after closure of draw-off taps and valves. Provision for expansion of water must be made to accommodate excess pressure within the system. Particular care is required where check valves are positioned, or loose jumper valves are thought to be upstream of the heater.
Back To Directory SectionsRange of wall mounted combination boilers providing domestic hot water via a plate heat exchanger and pressurised central heating system. The primary circuit incorporates a pressure relief valve set at 3.0 bar and an expansion vessel. The products are supplied with a temporary filling loop which incorporates a combined isolation valve and double check valve assembly (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 3), stainless steel braided EPDM lined flexible hose assembly and an isolation valve. The secondary circuit (DHW) incorporates a plastic flow restrictor The primary circuit incorporates isolation valves on the flow and return. Maximum working pressure of secondary circuit is 6.0 bar. Maximum working pressure of primary circuit is 2.5 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60°C. Cold water supply only.
Electronically controlled heat interface units (HIU) with twin stainless-steel plate heat exchangers providing space heating and instantaneous hot water. The cold inlet supply to the plate heat exchanger incorporates an isolation valve, in line single check valve assembly, (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2) and a water hammer arrestor. The space heating circuit incorporates an expansion vessel and a pressure relief valve (set at 3.0 bar). The product is supplied with a filling loop comprising of an in-line double check valve assembly (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 3), which incorporates an isolation valve, a stainless-steel braided EPDM lined flexible hose assembly and an isolation valve. The inlet and outlet of all circuits incorporates lever operated spherical valves with brass bodies. Maximum working pressures and operating temperatures: Primary: 16.0 bar and 90˚C. Domestic hot water (DHW): 10.0 bar and 60˚C. Secondary (space heating): 2.5 bar and 90˚C.
Range of wall mounted combination boilers providing domestic hot water via a plate heat exchanger and pressurised central heating system. Incorporating a pressure relief valve and expansion vessel. Primary circuit has a maximum working pressure of 3.5 bar and operating temperature of 85°C. Secondary circuit has a maximum working pressure of 10.0 bar and operating temperature of 60°C.
RINNAI range of wall mounted combination boilers. The unit incorporates a stainless-steel plate heat exchanger pressure relief valve set at 3.0 bar and an expansion vessel on the primary circuit. Maximum working pressure of primary circuit is 2.5 bar and secondary circuit is 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60˚C.
Range of wall mounted combination boilers providing domestic hot water via a plate heat exchanger and pressurised central heating system, incorporating a pressure relief valve set at 3.0 bar and expansion vessel on the primary circuit. The inlet of the replenishing valve between the primary and secondary circuits incorporate a plastic strainer. Maximum working pressure 2.5 bar (primary) and 6.0 bar (secondary). Maximum operating temperature 85˚C.
