The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge incorporating a single lever operating member and a manual override button. The spout outlet incorporates a lockable diverter to shower outlet and a plastic aerator. The inlets incorporate EPDM washers and approved check valve cartridges, (however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection).
