‘Inertol BS10’. Factory applied, black coloured bitumen coating. Apply as per manufacturer’s technical data sheet 'no. 786.3' dated 2013-V2'. Cure for 5 hours@23°C or 30 minutes@50°C. For use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval. Petroleum or asphaltic bitumen, NOT coal tar bitumen. Materials listed in this section are not approved for use for contact with water that is required to be wholesome on large water retaining structures such as lining of pipes, cisterns or water storage tanks.
'GMF-01'. Factory applied, grey coloured cement mortar. Mix sand, water & cement in a 1.5:1.0:1.0 weight ratio. Cure for 24 hours@25°C. For use with water up to 65°C. Between 1st November 2021 and 27th July 2022 this coating is for use with water up to 23°C. Between 28th July 2022 and 30th November 2026 this coating is for use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. 'Powercron® 6070'. Factory applied, black coloured, electrodeposition coating. Apply and cure as per technical data sheet ‘LT/F-16-128’ dated October 20th 2016. For use with water up to 23°C.
'Flogul® 645 Vert 6013'. Factory applied, green coloured paint. Apply as per manufacturer's data sheet dated '11/09/2018'. Cure for 7 days@20°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'JSAW-JAL (Cement-SDC)'. Factory applied, grey coloured, Sulphate Resisting Portland Cement mortar. Mix cement, sand and water in a 1:1.5:0.5 weight ratio. Cure for 2 hours and 30 minutes@45°C and 85 relative humidity. Then cure again for 3 days@30°C and 80% relative humidity. For use with water up to 65°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mix and cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'JSAW-JAL (Cement-SIL)'. Factory applied, grey coloured Ordinary Portland Cement mortar. Mix cement, sand and water in a 1:1.5:0.5 weight ratio. Cure for 2 hours and 30 minutes@45°C and 85 relative humidity. Then cure again for 3 days@30°C and 80% relative humidity. For use with water up to 65°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mix and cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'JSAW-JAL (Cement-JSL)'. Factory applied, grey coloured Blast Furnace Slag Cement mortar. Mix cement, sand and water in a 1:1.5:0.5 weight ratio. Cure for 2 hours and 30 minutes@45°C and 85 relative humidity. Then cure again for 3 days@30°C and 80% relative humidity. For use with water up to 65°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. 'Rivertex® APO850 Blue & NTP™ E850 0A’ and ‘Rivertex® APO850 Grey & & NTP™ E850 0A '. Polyester fabric (NTP™ E850 0A) completely coated with blue or grey coloured polyolefin (Rivertex®), manufactured by extrusion coating. For use with water up to 23°C.
'novapress® 850'. Light brown coloured, compressed fibre/NBR gasket material manufactured by calendaring. For use with water up to 85°C. For use only as a jointing/gasket material having been tested at a reduced surface area to volume ratio.
'Norsodyne H 13212 TAE Laminate' for use with 'Polycor White Gel Coat'. ‘NORSODYNE H 13212 BTAE Laminate' was added to the approval in July 2024. The glass fibre panel is manufactured by hand lay method and then factory applied, unsaturated resin gel coat is applied by brush (BR) or spray (PA). The brush gel coat is to be applied as per manufacturer's TDS ‘4100’ dated 10.10.17 and cured for 24 hours@25°C. The spray gel coat is to be applied as per manufacturer's TDS ‘4200’ dated 10.10.17 and cured for 24 hours@25°C. For use with water up to 23°C. These materials are only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the materials are not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Ultramid® B3EG7 black 00564' (Black coloured) & 'Ultramid® B3EG7 uncolored' (appears beige). Injection moulded nylon materials. 'Ultramid® B3EG7 uncolored' is for use with water up to 65°C. 'Ultramid® B3EG7 black 00564' is for use with water up to 85°C.
'UBE NYLON 1015GC350'. Black coloured, injection moulded PA material. For use with water up to 23°C.
'EcoPaXX® Q-DWX6 BK00002 & EcoPaXX® Q-DWX10 BK00002’ (black coloured). 'EcoPaXX® Q-DWX6 NA99001 & EcoPaXX® Q-DWX10 NA99001’ (natural – appears beige). Injection moulded polyamide materials. For use with water up to 85°C.
'Retiflex PE-Xb'. Translucent, white coloured, extruded, single-layered PE-Xb tubing. ‘RETIFLEX PEXb black’ was added to the approval in October 2024. Black coloured, extruded, single-layered PE-Xb tubing. Both tubes are for use with water up to 85°C.
'XD PE Fitting'. Black coloured, injection moulded polyethylene fitting. For use with water up to 60°C.
'Hostalen CRP 100 Blue' (manufactured in Saudi Arabia) & 'Hostalen CRP 100 W Blue' (manufactured in Germany). Blue coloured, injection moulded polyethylene materials. For use with water up to 23°C.
