‘Concept’ & ‘Advance’ ranges of atmospheric steaming ovens. The products incorporate a retractable triple layered hose on a reel and a push-button operated shower handset. The inlet of the shower handset incorporates a single check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection The water supply is controlled via a solenoid valve. The retractable hose has its own dedicated supply also controlled via a solenoid valve. The products are supplied with dual layer supply hoses (grey PVC outer layer/black PVC inner layer) with ¾” captive nut end connections, and chrome plated DZR brass ½” BSP (F) x ¾” BSP (M) double check valve assemblies (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 3) for installation on each inlet. Maximum working pressure 4.0 bar. Cold supply only.

Cleaning chemicals and detergents used in the automatic spray washing function must not represent a Fluid Category risk higher than Fluid Category 3. The Fluid Category of risk associated with the retractable hose and self-closing trigger supplied with this appliance can only be determine by the Water Regulations/Byelaws (Scotland) department of the local Water Supplier in the area of installation, which will require a site specific risk assessment. Under Regulation/Byelaw 3 and schedule 2 paragraph 15, the installer must ensure sufficient backflow protection is provided in line with the findings of the risk assessment.
