Electronically controlled heat interface units (HIU) with twin stainless-steel plate heat exchangers providing space heating and instantaneous hot water. The cold inlet supply to the plate heat exchanger incorporates an isolation valve. The space heating circuit incorporates an expansion vessel and a pressure relief valve (set at 3.0 bar). The inlet and outlet of all circuits incorporates lever operated spherical valves with brass bodies. 274.xx9x.696 models all have the following additional items over the 274.xx1x.696 models: Heatmeter on the primary circuit, a flushing bypass between the primary and space heating circuits and a safety relief valve (set at 10.0 bar) on the cold supply to the heat exchanger of the domestic hot water circuit. Maximum working pressures and operating temperatures: Primary: 16.0 bar and 90˚C. Domestic hot water (DHW): 9.5 bar and 60˚C. Secondary (space heating): 2.5 bar and 85˚C.
