The temperature is controlled by a dome type operating member which controls the thermostatic cartridge and a wheel type operating member which controls the ceramic discs which in turn control the shower outlets. The inlets incorporate an approved check valve cartridge however the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. The product also incorporates a separate ¼ turn ceramic disc headwork which supplies a stainless steel braided PEX lined flexible outlet hose assembly incorporating a ½” BSP (M) end connection. This outlet hose is supplied with an optional fibre gasket and ½” BSP (F) x ¾” BSP (M) brass adaptor and is intended to supply an appliance, with the quarter turn ceramic disc headwork acting as a shut-off valve.
