The fittings are supplied with plastic inserts. The Tectite Pro range is for use with copper tube (manufactured to BS 2871). Maximum working pressures & operating temperatures: Tectite Classic fittings with copper pipe: 16.0 bar @ 30°C, 10.0 bar @ 65°C & 6.0 bar @ 95°C. Tectite Classic fittings with PEX & Polybutylene: 12.0 bar @ 20°C, 6.0 bar @ 65°C & 3.0 bar @ 92°C. Tectite Pro fittings (15mm - 28mm): 20.0 bar @ 30°C, 16.0 bar @ 65°C & 10.0 bar 114°C. Tectite Pro fittings (32mm - 54mm): 16.0 @ 30°C, 10.0 bar 65°C & 6.0 bar @ 90°C.
Profipress & Sanpress ranges of gunmetal, copper or bronze (press-fit) fittings, with EPDM `O` rings. For use with copper tube (manufactured to BS EN 1057). Sizes 64mm – 108mm incorporate a stainless-steel grab ring. Maximum working pressure 16.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 85°C.
