The spout outlets incorporate a plastic flow straightener, and the product is supplied with a single check valve cartridge on the shower outlet (however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides adequate backflow protection). The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge incorporating a dome type operating member and a manual override button. Each inlet incorporates a combined NBR washer and stainless steel strainer, and an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. The spout outlet incorporates a self cancelling diverter to shower outlet and a plastic flow straightener. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar.
