The functional trim set comprises of two detent headworks (push to on, push to off) as the main flow control for each shower outlet, a ¼ turn ceramic disc valve with a dome type operating member controlling the flow volume, and a thermostatic cartridge controlling the temperature with a dome type operating member incorporating a manual override button. The functional trim set is also supplied with two brass assemblies comprising of a plastic filter, EPDM ‘O’-rings and an approved check valve cartridge, however the complete assembly has not been tested to demonstrate it provides adequate backflow protection. The inlets of the brass tee piece incorporate an approved single check cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection.
