The indirect models incorporate an expansion vessel (on the CW inlet of the DHW circuit) and a pressure relief valve set at 3.0 bar (on the space heating circuit). The indirect models only are supplied with a temporary filling loop, which comprises of a stainless steel braided EPDM lined flexible hose assembly and a lever operated spherical valve for connection to the primary circuit. The angled cold water inlet incorporates an isolation valve and a branch to connect to the filling loop, which includes a double check valve assembly (verified by test, suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 3). Maximum working pressure for indirect units: Primary circuit: 16.0 bar. Space heating: 2.5 bar. Secondary circuit (DHW): 10.0 bar. Fitted with a Caleffi 309463 GLD temperature and pressure relief valve sat at 6 bar & 90°C, and supplied with an inlet control group consisting of in-line pressure reducing valve (Caleffi set at 3 bar) and pressure relief valve (Caleffi CWIC200055) set at 4.5 bar, and incorporates a stainless-steel mesh and an approved check valve cartridge (verified by test suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2), expansion vessel and filling loop. Maximum working pressure 4.4 bar. Maximum operating temperature 99°C.
