Section Code 2410 : Fittings in this section have been judged only against the requirements of The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England and Wales), The Water Supply (Water Fittings) (Scotland) Byelaws 2014 or The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009. The decision of the Scheme to list them is not to be taken as any guide as to their effectiveness to do the job for which they have been designed. It should also be noted that there is a likelihood of some materials being leached into the water, which together with materials already in the water at source, could exceed the maximum limits set in the EC Directive on Water Quality and therefore it is recommended that before putting such units into service where the water may be ingested, advice should first be sought from the Water Undertaker.
