Temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge using a single lever operating member. The assembly incorporates a self-cancelling diverter to shower outlet. The spout outlet incorporates a plastic flow straightener. The inlets incorporate an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection.
