Section Code 0009 : SCHEDULE 2 - Section 6.2 - Type AB - Air gap with weir overflow.
Back To Directory SectionsRange of type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5). with flow control via solenoid valves incorporating flow restrictors. Maximum working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60ºC.
‘Boost a Break’ range of break tank and booster sets incorporating a solenoid valve controlling the flow, polypropylene tank and pump having a single check valve cartridge at the inlet (however the complete assembly has not been tested to demonstrate it provides adequate backflow protection). The pump sets have various flow rates and pressures depending in installation requirements. The tank incorporates a type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5). Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Cold water use only.
Rainwater harvesting back up device used to top up rainwater harvesting tanks with mains water. The device is fed by a solenoid valve and discharges via a type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5). Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Cold water use only.
Type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5) and flexible hose. Flow is controlled via a solenoid valve. Maximum working pressure 4.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 55°C
Rainwater top up cistern with flow controlled by solenoid valve and discharged via a type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5). Product also incorporates a stop valve, a flow restrictor and a float valve on the inlet. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Cold water use only.
Standpipe assembly break tank with a Type ‘AB’ air gap (verified by test – suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5) mounted to the top of the standpipe body. The tank is filled via a compact float valve and has two screened weir slots. Water is then supplied by gravity from the break tank to the hose outlet below. Flow is activated via a spherical valve located behind a lockable panel. In addition to the isolation valve, the product incorporates a single check valve assembly (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2) prior to the spherical valve and an in-line ‘Y’ pattern strainer after it. The spherical valve includes a drain plug to allow for draining. Insulation is provided up to the drain point. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Cold water use only.
Type ‘AB’ air gap assembly (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 5) with flow controlled via a solenoid valve. Supplied with EPDM inlet hoses that incorporate a single check valve cartridge, however the check valve has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Max working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60ºC.
Range of pressurisation units with flow controlled by a float operated valve and discharged via a type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5). The inlets incorporate stainless steel strainers, flow restrictors and spherical isolation valves. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Cold water use only.
‘Type `AB` airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5) incorporating a float operated valve controlling the flow. The inlet hose incorporates an isolation valve. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Cold water use only.
Range of break tanks and pump sets incorporating a Type AB airgap (verified by test - suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5). Maximum working pressure 10 bar. Cold water use only.
