Pent-A-Boost domestic break tank and booster set incorporating a single or dual pump stage pump set assembly and break cistern (incorporating an AG air gap arrangement). Inlet level sensors control the water supply via solenoid valves with inline strainers fitted (see manufacturers data sheet for optional arrangements). The unit also incorporates an expansion vessel. Flow from the break tank is via a single check valve suitable for fluid category 2 to a booster pump arrangement (see manufacturers data sheet for optional arrangements). Standpipe assembly break tank with a Type ‘AB’ air gap (verified by test – suitable for backflow protection against fluid category 5) mounted to the top of the standpipe body. The tank is filled via a compact float valve and has two screened weir slots. Water is then supplied by gravity from the break tank to the hose outlet below. Flow is activated via a spherical valve located behind a lockable panel. In addition to the isolation valve, the product incorporates a single check valve assembly (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2) prior to the spherical valve and an in-line ‘Y’ pattern strainer after it. The spherical valve includes a drain plug to allow for draining. Insulation is provided up to the drain point. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Cold water use only.
