The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge incorporating a manual override button either dome or single lever operating members. The spout outlet incorporates a flow straightener or aerator. The inlets incorporate stainless steel strainers and approved single check valve cartridges; however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection.
