‘Comet’ combination units consisting of a cased and insulated stainless steel unvented hot water storage cylinder. The cylinder primary circuit is fitted with an in-line electrical heater which supplies the heat source to the secondary water via a stainless-steel coil, and the heat source to the central heating circuit directly. The cylinder is factory fitted with a temperature and pressure relief valve, pre-set at 7.0 bar 90 degrees. The unit is supplied with an inlet control group containing a check valve cartridge, verified by test (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2), pressure reducing valve set at 3.0 bar and an expansion relief set at 6.0 bar. An expansion vessel is factory fitted to both the secondary and primary circuits within and is positioned inside the casing. The primary circuit also incorporates a circulating pump and pressure relief valve which is set at 3.0 bar. Range of wall mounted, manually operated, concealed blending valves with brass bodies (chrome plated) faceplates, incorporating a ceramic cartridge headwork with a single lever operating member controlling both flow and temperature. The product incorporates a ceramic cartridge headwork with a single lever operating member. The product is supplied with a stainless steel braided PEX lined flexible hose assembly incorporating a ¾” captive nut end connection for installation on the outlet. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 65°C.

Flow is controlled as follows (for operating members - see model): Single outlet models: ¼ turn ceramic disc headwork. Double Outlet Models without diverter: ¼ turn ceramic disc headworks. Double Outlet Models with diverter: 2-way ceramic disc diverter headwork. Triple Outlet Models with diverter: ¼ turn ceramic disc headwork and a 2-way ceramic disc diverter headwork. The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge with various operating members (see model) which incorporates a manual override button. The inlets incorporate a single check valve cartridge, however, the complete assembly has not been tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection.
