Temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge with a dome type operating member which incorporates a manual override button. The product incorporates a secondary manual diverter to divert the flow between the overhead shower and the shower hose and handset. The spout outlet incorporates a plastic aerator. The inlets and the outlet to the shower handset all incorporate an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection.
