A secondary product approval enables a retailer, wholesaler or other third party to sell or otherwise market a WRAS Approved Product under an alternative trade name, where a valid primary approval is already in place. The secondary approval is technically linked to the primary approval and confirms that the product, construction and materials remain within the approved scope. This approach maintains regulatory compliance and full traceability to the original assessment, without the need for repeat technical evaluation. In order to gain a secondary WRAS will gain the manufacturers consent via the online portal application.
