Section Code 5505 : Waterstops. These materials are for use in concrete reservoirs and similar structures, constructed in accordance with the design criteria of BS EN 1992 with respect to normal frequency of joints. The materials have been tested at a reduced surface area to volume ratio of 1000mm² per litre as specified in BS 6920: Part 1.

‘TamAcryl 2000’ and ‘TamAcryl 2000 LTX’. Site applied waterstops, to be cured for 24 hours@20°C. For use with water up to 23°C. ‘TamAcryl 2000’ is green coloured when mixed and comprises of parts A1 (dark blue liquid), A2 (pale yellow liquid), A3 (brown liquid) & B1 (white, opaque, granulated powder). A3 and A1 are mixed in a 0.4:9.6 mass ratio. A2 is then added to the A3/A1 mixture to give a 0.4:9.6:1 mass ratio. B1 is mixed with water in a 0.1:9.9 mass ratio and then mixed with the A3/A1/A2 mixture. ‘TamAcryl 2000 LTX’ is pale green when mixed and comprises of parts A1 (dark blue liquid), A2 (pale yellow liquid), A3 (brown liquid), B1 (white, opaque, granulated powder) & B2 (white, opaque liquid) A3 and A1 are mixed in a 0.4:9.6 mass ratio. A2 is then added to the A3/A1 mixture to give a 0.4:9.6:1 mass ratio. B1 and B2 are mixed in a 0.1:9.9 mass ratio and the mixed with the A3/A1/A2 mixture. These materials are only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the materials are not covered by the scope of the approval. These materials are for use in concrete reservoirs and similar structures, constructed in accordance with the design criteria of BS EN 1992 with respect to normal frequency of joints.
