Heat interface unit providing indirect central heating (space heating) and instantaneous hot water via a district heating heat input circuit. The connection to the water supply incorporates an approved check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. The hot water and central heating is generated via a plate heat exchanger by the use of district heating. The space heating circuit incorporates an expansion vessel and an expansion relief valve (3.0 bar). Maximum working pressures: District heating circuit 16.0 bar. Central heating Circuit 2.5 bar. Domestic hot water 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 85°C.
