Tempearture is controlled from a separate control unit incorporating a thermostatic cartridge, which is operated by a single lever on the side of the unit. The spout connects to the unit via a (transparent) PEX-b pipe. The inlets of the control unit incorporate a stainless steel strainer and an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. The outlet of the unit incorporates a plastic flow regulator. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 65°C.
