Econoplate models:
Following models xx goes from 5-59 to denote number of plates.
E4Axx, E4Aixx, E4Bxx, E4Bixx, E3A1xx, E3Ai1xx, C3Ai1xx, E3A3xx, E3Ai3xx, C3Ai3xx, i2Axx, i2Bxx, E2A(##)xx, E2B(##)xx, E4AxxD, E4AixxD, E4BxxD, E4BixxD, E3A1xxD, E3Ai1xxD, C3Ai1xxD, E3A3xxD, E3Ai3xxD, C3Ai3xxD, i2AxxD, i2BxxD.
Following models xx goes from 11-74 to denote number of plates:
E3Cxx, E3Cixx, C3Cixx, i2Cxx, E2C(##)xx, E3CxxD, E3CixxD, C3CixxD, i2CxxD.
FIRST LETTER:
E = MODELS PAINTED YELLOW.
C = MODELS ARE IDENTICAL TO E MODELS BUT PAINTED WHITE.
i = Fitted with a speed controlled primary pump (2 port models only).
FIRST NUMBER:
PRIMARY CONTROL VALVE TYPE/NO. OF PORTS - 2, 3 or 4.
NEXT LETTER RELATES TO FRAME SIZE OR PRIMARY CONTROL SET (PUMP & OR CONTROL VALVE) SIZE:
Frame size - A, B or C.
When fitted with a speed controlled primary pump add an i (3 and 4 port models only).
When fitted with twin head primary pump add a D to model designation after the number xx.
xx = number of (heat exchanger) plates
All model names are followed by +0R where:
+0R = no secondary pump.
## added to differentiate primary fluids and can be replaced with the following:
SW = steam to water.
LTHWS = low temperature heating to domestic hot water.
MTHWS = medium temperature heating to domestic hot water.
Units with a secondary pressure of 10.0 bar use stainless connections and are denoted by ’10 bar’ at end of model number.
Units with a secondary pressure of 6.0 bar use bronze connections which are standard fitment so no addition or alteration to model number.
All models can be fitted with either 1.5” or 2” secondary circuit connections, this does not affect the product model number.
Models added February 2023 - Econoplate STP3, STC3, STP2, STC2 & STP4:
ST (first 2 figures) – Signifies a Stokvis product on all models. All Econoplate models are orange in colour.
P or C (3rd figure) – Signifies small or large chassis (P = 1.5” primary connections, C = 2” primary connections).
2, 3, or 4 (4th figure) – Signifies configuration of chassis to suit control valve, 2, 3 or 4 port.
A, B, or C (5th figure) – Signifies secondary connection sizes (A = 1.5”, B = 2.0”, C = 2.0” stainless).
5 – 59 (P chassis), 11 – 74 (C chassis) (6th & 7th figure) – Signifies number of identical plates on unit.
H, L, or M (8th Figure) – Signifies heat exchanger plate design (H = High theta, L = Low theta, M (mixed) = Combination of H & L).
T1 or T2 (9th & 10th figure) – Signifies type of control panel (T1 = Standard control panel, T2 = Touchscreen premium panel).
2, 3, or 4 (11th figure) – Signifies primary control valve/s configuration (2 = 2 port, 3 = 3 port, 4 = 4 port).
S, D, or N (12th figure) – Signifies primary pump configuration (S = Single head, D = Dual head, N = No primary pump fitted).
1 or 4 (13th figure) – Signifies number of temp sensors fitted to unit (1 = 1, 4 = 4).
N (14th Figure) – Signifies no secondary pump fitted.
