‘POD’ range of indirect and direct heat interface units providing space heating and instantaneous hot water. The heat transfer is generated via plate heat exchangers. The domestic hot water (DHW) circuit incorporates an adjustable temperature mixing valve. The indirect models incorporate an expansion vessel (on the CW inlet of the DHW circuit) and a pressure relief valve set at 3.0 bar (on the space heating circuit). The indirect models only are supplied with a temporary filling loop, which comprises of a stainless steel braided EPDM lined flexible hose assembly and a lever operated spherical valve for connection to the primary circuit. The angled cold water inlet incorporates an isolation valve and a branch to connect to the filling loop, which includes a double check valve assembly (verified by test, suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 3). Maximum working pressure for indirect units: Primary circuit: 16.0 bar. Space heating: 2.5 bar. Secondary circuit (DHW): 10.0 bar. Maximum working pressure for direct units: Primary circuit: 10.0 bar. Space heating: 10.0 bar. Secondary circuit (DHW): 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature for domestic hot water 65°C. Maximum operating temperature for central heating and primary circuit 85°C.
Shower wastewater heat recovery unit, consisting of a PVC-U waste pipe with an internal copper tube which provides a double wall separation between the wastewater and cold mains supply. Maximum working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60°C.
Range of copper or stainless-steel brazed heat exchangers available with various number of plates as listed below. Maximum working pressure 25.0 Bar (copper brazed models). Maximum working pressure 10.0 Bar (stainless steel brazed models). Maximum operating temperature 100.0°C.
Indirect heat interface unit with copper brazed, stainless-steel heat exchangers, providing heating and instantaneous hot water. The product incorporates an expansion vessel on the cold-water supply to the plate heat exchanger and a safety relief valve on the heating circuit set @ 2.5 bar. The DHW and heating circuits are both fitted with drain valves incorporating cover caps. Maximum working pressure 16 Bar (Primary), 10 Bar (DHW) & 3 Bar (Heating) Maximum operating temperature 95°C
