Range of ductile iron pipe couplings for use with stainless steel and carbon steel pipe. The carbon steel pipe must incorporate a suitable coating or lining for wholesome water use. 'EW Gasket Material'. Black coloured EPDM gasket material which is injection moulded and then spliced (made in Poland). In June 2025, black coloured, compression moulded material (made in China) was added to the approval. Shore hardness 65A. Between November 2022 and February 2023, the in-radius size was 3.9mm. Between March 2023 and November 2029, the in-radius size is 4.4mm. For use with water up to 23°C.
'Victaulic Lubricant'. Beige coloured lubricant. Apply as per manufacturer's instructions. For use with water up to 85°C.
'EW gasket material'. Black coloured, injection moulded, EPDM gasket material. Shore hardness 65A. Tested in-radius size 3.9mm. For use with water up to 65°C.
