Temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge with a dome type operating member that also incorporates a manual override button. The spout outlet incorporates a plastic flow straightener and a stainless steel mesh. Both inlets incorporate a single check valve cartridge (however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection) and stainless-steel strainers.
