Heat retained in water heaters will cause expansion of water after closure of draw-off taps and valves. Provision for expansion of water must be made to accommodate excess pressure with the system. Floor standing gas fired condensing combination boiler incorporating a 47 litre primary store. Domestic hot water is via a plate heat exchanger. The combination boiler is supplied with a temporary filling loop. Maximum primary working pressure is 2.5 bar. Maximum secondary working pressure is 10.0bar. Maximum operating temperature 60°C
Range of indirect heat interface units providing heating and instantaneous hot water. The product incorporates a temperature & pressure control valve. The secondary circuit incorporates an expansion vessel and expansion relief valve (pre-set at 3.0 bar). The units incorporate a temporary filling loop (incorporating a double check valve, suitable for backflow prevention against Fluid Category 3) to the inlet control group (pressure reducing valve pre-set at 3.0 bar/pressure relief valve set at 6.0 bar). The discharge from the inlet control group is via tundish (meeting the requirements of an air gap to drain). Products are supplied with cylinders of 80L - 215L capacity (dependant on model). Maximum working pressure primary (district heating) 10.0 bar. Maximum working pressure secondary (space heating) 2.5 bar. Maximum working pressure of domestic hot water circuit is 2.5 bar. Maximum operating temperature of the primary circuit 95°C, and domestic hot water at 90°C.
