'ANUBIT HB-1000'. Factory applied, black coloured bitumen coating. Apply as per manufacturer's TDS 'AE-TDS-023-2021', dated '02.08.2024'. Please note that use of a thinner isn't covered by the scope of this approval. Cure for 40 minutes@30°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.

Petroleum or asphaltic bitumen, NOT coal tar bitumen. Materials containing petroleum or asphaltic bitumen are not approved for use on water-retaining structures with large surface:volume ratio such as lining of pipes, cisterns or water storage tanks in contact with wholesome water, but may be acceptable for use where there is only a small surface area in contact with the water – e.g. taps, valves and pipe connectors.
