Assembly of pipe and fittings for use Arjo Huntleigh assisted bathing units. The assemblies comprise of either brass compression fittings or plastic push fit fittings for use with Uponor WIrsbo PEX pipe. The inlet of the 22mm assembly incorporates a combined spherical valve and strainer with brass body and stainless-steel filter. The strainer incorporates an approved check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature for assemblies incorporating brass compression fittings is 80°C. Maximum operating temperature for assemblies incorporating PEX push fit fittings is 50°C.
A self-closing shower handset with a plastic body, the inlet incorporates a plastic flow restrictor and an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 85 °C.
‘Parker 500’ assisted bathing unit. Flow is controlled via a thermostatic mixing valve, the inlet of which incorporates a stainless steel strainer and single check valve cartridge (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2) and feeds either a bath spout outlet or shower handset which incorporates a self-closing trigger. The inlet to the shower handset incorporates a plastic flow restrictor and a single check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. There is a combined spherical valve and strainer on the inlet to the bathing unit which incorporates a single check valve cartridge (suitable for backflow protection against Fluid Category 2). The ‘shepherds crook’ type shower outlet is protected via an AUK3 airgap arrangement. Maximum working pressure 6.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 80°C
