There is a double check valve supplied with every machine. Some models are available with AirConcept and GiO-Module options. Maximum working pressure 5.0 Bar. Models incorporating AirConcept & GiO-Module are cold water use only. All other models have a maximum operating temperature 60°C. Modification November 2019 Supplied with Airbreak to drain.

IRN’s R415 & R510 apply to products which incorporate the GiO-Modules reverse osmosis unit. This appliance incorporates a Fluid Category 5 backflow prevention device. The product is supplied with a double check valve for use on the inlet. At least a single check valve is required on each supply to this fitting because it is for a non-wholesome water application so the materials of construction have not been fully assessed against the requirements of the Regulations. The double check valve supplied with this product must be installed to maintain the validity of the WRAS approval.
